Thanks for sharing! I constantly see no matter where I go simply the color of my skin is determines how I'm treated. Today in a Gap store in Vacaville, CA my friend (Mexican descent) and I were deliberately discriminated on. We waited in line to be served and the cashier looked at us twice and tried to turn around to other employee instead of ask us if we needed help.... My friend and I were definitely appalled because we're like it's 2011 REALLY! When I come across these situations it only motivates me more to move forward with my dreams and make sure my ethnic group is not mis-represented by stereotypes.
